MTV.COM, 2/2/99 --------------- 2.2.99 12:00 EST Misfits To Be Captured As Action Figures It looks like Ozzy won't be the only rocker prowling around toy stores this year. The day after Osbourne unveils his action figure at this year's American International Toy Fair, punk legends the Misfits will do the same. The group's Jerry Only and Doyle Von Frankenstein will be at the Toy Fair on Tuesday, February 9 to give folks their first look at the figures, produced by 21st Century Toys. The figures are expected to arrive in stores in July, near the time when the band will release its new album on Roadrunner Records. The toys are the latest entry into the high traffic world of Misfits memorabilia, where the band's early 7" releases have been known to pull down as much as $1000. As we first reported last week (see "Ozzy, 'Spawn' Creator To Hit Toy Fair To Debut Ozzy Action Figure"), Ozzy will join Todd McFarlane at the Toy Fair on February 8 where the two men will reveal an Ozzy action figure they hope to have on the market this year.
