the gore by glenn

HOUSE BY THE CEMETERY
Good Gore scenes but not much else in this Italian import. More dumb people
doing such incredibly dumb things that they deserve everything they get. I
hope some good movies come out soon cause I'm getting sick of all this SCUM.

STEPHEN KING'S CHILDREN OF THE CORN
This was so Unbelievably BAD it could only have been a "Stephen King" movie.
Murderous kids take over a small hick-town by killing all the adults. Their
leader is a wimpy little intellectual with the voice of a girl. GORE IS
NON-EXISTENT, as it is in most King movies. By the time you read this there
will be yet another one in the theatres of Stephen King. How depressing.

FRIDAY THE 13TH THE FINAL CHAPTER
Lots of silly Teen-Sex scenes, lots of Violence, but the GORE sdcenes are
always extremely short, 3-4 seconds apeice (IF EVEN THAT). Again lots of
dumb jerks doing dumb things in order to get snuffed by JASON. Yep JASON's
back and he really dies in this but will most likely be a sequel. If you've
seen any of the other parts you really don't need to see this.

SUBURBIA
This was made by Penelope (DECLINE) Spheeris and Cromans' former Co., New
World. Just another reason why this reminds of me AIPs' Teen-Hippie flicks
of the 60's (Wild In The Streets and Riot On Sunste Strip). This is as much
an Exploitation film as it is an attempt to take Punk a little more
seriously. Unfortunately this movie does more harm than good. People will
see this and say 'All Punks are Like This'. You can probably expect a few
more Teen-Punk flicks to come along soon but don't expect any of the
authenticity Spheeris tried but failed to maintain in SUBURBIA. They'll be
even cornier than this one. And This Was Fuckin' CORNY. All responsible
for this deserve a slow and very painful death.

NO ROOM FOR A REVIEW BUT GO SEE "SPINAL TAP"
LOTS OF YUKS!!
