Mike Mansfield

Mike was the lead singer and chief lyricist for Implosion and Mourning Noise. Dozens of young punks ran in fear from his thunderous roar. His onstage antics often included self-deprecating comedy routines and parodies of famous punk songs. In late 1983, Mike left Mourning Noise for a brief period of time, and was replaced by Joseph "Jay" Olivetti for a few shows; Mike returned to the band with a fury that has yet to be surpassed. After Mourning Noise disbanded, Mike was briefly part of an early Chyna lineup. Since then, Mike can be seen roaming the Lodi, NJ, music scene.
